Counting to three is a simple task, unlike navigating the complexities of IVF. I’m placing all my hopes on science and prayer as three of my five little embryos (or “embabies” as I affectionately call them) have reached the blastocyst stage. Today, a tiny sample from each was sent for genetic testing. While they’re safely frozen, the next two weeks will be a test of patience as we await the results.

The physical demands of IVF – the injections, the blood draws, the ultrasounds – were tough but manageable. It’s the endless waiting that’s truly grueling. With each passing day, the anticipation grows, and the worry creeps in.

So, I return to my mantra: Pray, Science, Believe. It’s a simple reminder to trust the process, rely on medical expertise, and maintain a hopeful spirit.
