Most children find comfort in a familiar object, like a blanket or stuffed animal. While I never had a particular attachment to a physical item, I’ve always found solace in the love and support of my family and friends.

As I approach the day of my embryo transfer, I’m carrying with me a comforting “security blanket” woven from the love and support of those around me. I’ve always felt safe and secure in their presence, but since announcing my decision to become a mom, I’ve been overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness and care. The countless texts, phone calls, and heartfelt messages have been a constant reminder of how deeply loved I am.

As the transfer date draws near, I’ve found myself grappling with a mix of excitement and anxiety. It’s as if the needles for my preparation injections have grown tenfold, mirroring the size of my worries. But then I take a deep breath and remember the beautiful tapestry of love and support that surrounds me.

I can only hope that one day, I’ll be able to pass on even a fraction of the love and support that I’ve received. My wish for all of us is to be wrapped in a tapestry of love, strength, and belonging, no matter where life takes us.

I plan to sign off for a few weeks to focus on nurturing my growing embaby and preparing for the excitement of seeing them on the ultrasound. Sending love and support from my comforter to yours.

If you’d like to support me on my journey, please consider making a donation to https://gofund.me/75ed27e1. Your generosity will help me cover the costs of fertility treatments and provide me with the resources I need to create a loving home for my future child.

Thank you for being a part of my tapestry of love and support.
